In this report, the primary aim is to investigate the extent to which performance appraisal at AGS Support Services follows good practice, specifically in the areas of payment linked to performance appraisal, as well as the exact manner of how feedback should be provided.
The particular objectives are:
1. To examine the literature to find out what other researchers have assumed about performance appraisal systems in companies.
2. To perform semi-structured interviews with staff and managers of AGS Support Services concerning the performance appraisal systems.
3. To make recommendations that are reasonable and could be implemented within a specific time limit, grounded on the performed interviews and comparison with good practice ideas from the literature.
